Joseph M. “Joe” age 92, of Broomall formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, Pa. passed away on May 3, 2021Joe was born August 8, 1928 to Sebastian “Tito” and Anna (DeFrancesco). West Catholic HS Class of 1946. An Army Man, he served in the Korean War. Joe was a member of Marple Memorial Post 805 of the American Legion for 16 years.  Married Cecelia in 1956 and moved to Broomall where he resided for the next 65 years. A true family man, he relaxed more with the grandchildren and even more with the greats! He had a love/not so much love relationship with the Eagles, Phillies & Sixers and never missed a Villanova basketball game. There was always a sporting event on TV, including golf which he enjoyed playing. He truly lived a good, long life.Predeceased by his brother Eugene and his sister Eleanor and her husband James Daly.Survived by his wife, Cecelia M. (nee Conlin), his son Joseph J. (Scottie), his daughters Rosemarie Stranahan, Ann (Richard) Eglington, and Louise (Margo) DiGiacomo. Joe had 11 grandchildren, Joseph (Melissa), Michael (Shawnna), Christopher (Julie) DiGiacomo; Rick, Melissa, Meghan and Tim Eglington; Kevin and Sean Stranahan; and James and Katie DiGiacomo. And 8 Great Grandchildren, Ainsleigh, Joey, Luciano, Sebastian, Adrian, Cora, Henry and Sophie DiGiacomo. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Claire.
